Instead, they may participate in demand response transactions through the energy storage system and obtain additional compensation fees.
3. What are the main application scenarios for user side energy storage?
User side energy storage is mainly applied to charging stations, industrial parks, data centers, communication base stations, and other objects with electricity consumption patterns.
4. What is the profit model for investment, construction, and operation of user side energy storage?
(1) The investment, construction, and operation are carried out by integrated operators, and customers do not need to pay a penny. They only need to provide a site for the construction of energy storage systems, and the profits obtained are shared between integrated operators and users.
(2) Both parties share profits, and the specific profit sharing will be negotiated based on the customer's electricity consumption and energy storage scale.
(3) The energy storage system is invested and constructed by users themselves, and the integrated operator is responsible for operation and promises customer benefits.
5. What is the cooperation period for user side energy storage projects?
The recommended cooperation period is generally 15 years.
6. How long does it take from contract signing to project implementation?
From signing the contract to officially putting the project into operation, it usually takes 3-6 months, depending on the specific situation and complexity of the field of view.
7. What electricity standards do enterprises need to meet to install energy storage power plants?
At present, the national and local governments have not set conditions for the construction of user side energy storage. In Guangdong region, it is generally not less than 5 million degrees Celsius per year, while in Zhejiang region, it is generally not less than 3 million degrees Celsius per year. Generally speaking, the higher the electricity consumption, the larger the configurable energy storage capacity of the project.
8. What is the floor area of the energy storage power station?
A 1MWh energy storage power station covers an area of about 10 square meters, and considering the safety distance before and after, it is 20-30 square meters.
9. What are the site requirements for installing energy storage power plants?
(1) The site is located outdoors and there is no hazardous chemical warehouse within 20 meters.
(2) Try to be as close as possible to the distribution room, and the farthest distance from the distribution room should not exceed 100 meters.
10. Does the installation of energy storage power stations require the assistance of the owner to complete the procedures?
The installation of energy storage power stations requires registration on the local development and reform bureau website, and this procedure is the responsibility of the integrated operator. The owner only needs to cooperate and provide information.
11. How long is the construction period for energy storage power plants? Do you need to power off? How long will it take to disconnect?
After the procedures are completed, the official construction period is about 1-1.5 months; A short power outage is required for the installation of grid connected cabinets, with a minimum power outage time of approximately 2 hours.
12. Who will be responsible for operation and maintenance after the completion of the energy storage power station? Is it necessary for the owner's personnel to participate?
For customers who choose an integrated operator, after the completion of the energy storage station, the integrated operator will be responsible for operation and maintenance. At the same time, they will generally provide simple training to the relevant staff of the owner and provide solutions in special circumstances.
13. Will the energy storage power station increase the owner's basic electricity bill?
No. If it is charged based on capacity, the basic electricity bill is already fixed. If billing is based on demand, it is also possible that the energy storage discharge bears the load, reducing the maximum demand and thus reducing the basic electricity bill.
When designing energy storage capacity, the capacity and load of the transformer have been considered, and the demand will not be increased due to energy storage charging. If the demand is increased, the energy management system (EMS) will automatically identify and stop energy storage charging.
14. Will energy storage power plants generate losses? If there is any loss, which party is responsible?
There is a loss, which has been taken into account and deducted when both parties share profits.
15. Is the metering of energy storage power plants accurate?
Accurate, all installed electricity metering meters are based on meters that meet national standards and have passed testing.
16. Who is responsible for safety issues in energy storage power plants?
If Party A's equipment malfunctions or is damaged or lost due to Party B's equipment, the losses suffered by Party A as a result shall be compensated by Party B. Meanwhile, during the performance of the contract, Party B shall be responsible for purchasing machinery damage insurance and property all risks insurance related to the project, and shall bear the insurance premiums. The amount of property insurance coverage shall not be less than the actual value of the insured property.
17. Do users need to power off during the daily operation of energy storage power plants?
The daily operation of the power station does not require users to power off.
18. Will switching between energy storage stations cause power flickering?
No, energy storage devices will not have a negative impact on the power quality of users.
19. Is the emergency power supply of the energy storage station instantaneous or requires manual adjustment?
A switching strategy needs to be set in advance, as energy storage devices are different from UPS and cannot achieve fully automatic switching.
20. Will the energy storage equipment be replaced after reaching a certain level of loss, and who will bear the cost?
The main loss part of energy storage equipment is the battery cell, and the health of the battery cell will decrease with the increase of usage time. After a certain degree of decline, the integrated operator will be responsible for replacing it, and the cost does not need to be borne by the enterprise.
